Why a rep needs a personal CRM
Territories change, companies change, and the work CRM stays with the employer. The people you’ve built trust with come with you. A personal CRM is where you keep what you know about them, in your own words.
What salespeople keep in BlackBook
- The personal details: a client’s partner and kids, the team they follow, the trip they just took
- Notes and conversation history for each person, so you can reread before a call
- Follow-up reminders, so “I’ll check back after the quarter” actually happens
- Birthday reminders for clients and contacts
- Pulse, which suggests who to reach out to next from your notes, history and reminders
How it fits next to your work CRM
Use the company system for deals, stages and forecasts. Use BlackBook for the relationship itself: what you talked about, what matters to them, and when to reach out just to stay in touch. It’s on your iPhone, so a note takes seconds right after a meeting.
Private by design
There’s no account or login. Your notes stay on your iPhone and private iCloud, there are no ad SDKs, and your data is never sold. Start free with the 25 people who matter most.

Frequently asked questions
Does BlackBook replace my company CRM?
No. BlackBook isn’t a deal pipeline or a team tool. Keep using your work CRM for deals and reporting, and use BlackBook for your own notes and follow-ups with the people you know.
Should I put confidential company data in it?
Follow your employer’s rules. Many reps keep only personal relationship notes in BlackBook, like family names, interests and when to check in, and leave account data in the company system.
Is my data private?
BlackBook needs no account. Your people and notes stay on your iPhone and in your private iCloud. There are no ad SDKs, and your data is never sold.
Is BlackBook free?
BlackBook is free to download with a free plan of 25 people, two notes per person and 30 days of interaction history. BlackBook Pro is an optional subscription for unlimited people and full history: in the US it’s $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, and the annual plan includes a 1-week free trial. Prices are shown in the app.
What iPhones does it run on?
BlackBook requires iOS 17.6 or later. On iOS 26 with a compatible iPhone, BlackBook Pro adds on-device Apple Intelligence features.
